National Survey - 2011 Survey
The 2011 National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife-Associated Recreation is currently underway. Data collection began throughout the country on April 1, 2011 and will be completed by March 31, 2012.
The survey is conducted every five years and is designed to provide data on fishing, hunting, and other wildlife-related activities during calendar year 2011.
National preliminary estimates will be available the end of June 2012. The final national report and the data CD-ROM will be available in November of 2012. The 50 state reports will be available on a flow basis beginning in November 2012.
